Mrs JOYCE T. PORTER
Mrs Joyce Porter started early charity works in 2008 after visiting the DR Congo in November of the same year and in Zambia during May 2010. The journey which was supposed to be a fun family visit turned into an heartfelt and awareness surge that did not prepare Joyce as she encountered so much poverty and deprivation in many parts of a country known as one of the richest mineral countries in the world. Her enthusiasm is then turned into a sudden and strong desire to help, therefore unlocking her inner skills with a vision to fight for life improvement. Joyce knows that this was huge and almost an impossible mission, but the vision was to start something, anything, but things certainly needed changes. The challenge was unrealistic but as a christian Joyce’s faith was her momentum, knowing that nothing is impossible when you believe in a Greater One, and is it not true that “where there is a will there is also a way”
Married and mother. Writer and author of “I Shall not Want“ a faith autobiography, published in 2015 by Xlibris USA. Joyce also works as international project manager and lives in Kent, UK
